• TUFF™SHIELD is a dry-flowing powder composed of a blend of aluminum silicate minerals, processed hydrocarbons, and graphite that forms a tight suspension in drilling fluids. The product has d50 of 12.92 which means it will not be screened out or centrifuged out of solution like conventional lubricants or LCM additives. 
• TUFF™SHIELD is a very effective and economical additive for oil/synthetic-based muds that provides mechanical lubrication, decreases fluid loss, increases R.O.P. and reduces, or eliminates, torque and drag while drilling, thus reducing wear and tear on BHA, preventing unnecessary trips for failed tools and bits.
• TUFF™SHIELD also performs as a fluid loss additive in water-based mud systems.

• TUFF™BEADS is a high compressive strength, Dual Density, mechanical lubricant which is specifically engineered and designed for extremely deviated wells, wells with unplanned directional changes or doglegs, and the tortuosity of today’s extended-reach wellbores. 
• The Dual Density product consists of a proprietary blend of high density, spherical glass beads, and low density, spherical Co-Polymer beads which inert and insoluble, allowing compatibility in both Aqueous and Non-Aqueous fluid systems. Unlike traditional ‘drill beads’ that required costly equipment, manpower, and chemical treatment costs while increasing the low gravity solids content of the drilling fluid. 
• TUFF™BEADS Dual Density beads are recommended as a supplemental additive used primarily in sweeps while drilling or prior to logging/liner/casing runs. 
• TUFF™BEADS have been intentionally designed to resist deformation while covering the high and low side of the well bore, as well as, provide a wide particle size distribution, ensuring both metal-to-metal and metal-to-wellbore stand-off is maintained.
